I've had this on my blog for about a week and love it. Today I went to change it from "All Time" to "Past 30 Days." I like having the thumbnail but not the snippet and now I can't get rid of either. I uncheck both boxes, click Save and both the thumbnail (which I don't mind) and snippet show up on my blog. ?????????? This just happened today. How can I fix this??? No matter how many times I uncheck the snippet box and hit save, the snippet shows.

@Brenda, i guess you are using "layout templates" (latest is the template designer templates). It might be the case that you have unchecked both boxes but it is not reflected in your template code. I have faced this issue with rate a post widget. So i suggest you to check in your template code and then see if it changes or not. If you need more help then : Contact Me.

I can't find the "Popular Posts" widget you speak of. Is it because I'm using a third-party template?

Hey, forgot to leave an email address in my comment. If you can help, contact me at MXL@saffoldink.com. PLEASE help if you can. I really don't understand why the "Popular Posts" gadget isn't offered to me, seeing as how I seem to have all the other Blogger gadgets at my disposal.

@MXL, Open this link http://draft.blogger.com/home and login, and then you will find the popular posts widget, because currently it is available for blogger in draft users only. Hope you will find the widget now :)

I love the Popular Post widget but would like it to be a horizontal list instead or vertical. Do you know how to style it?
  7. Piyush - Admin @ Blogger How To Tips October 21, 2010 at 9:44 PM
@Jules, I think if you add it beneath your post area then you will notice that it will expand horizontally automatically. (If you are adding it to the sidebar then because of the width applies on the widget it will looks like a vertical :)). Hope you are getting me. and if you have still any query then let me know.

I've tried that. Only the post titles expand to fit the blog post width. What I really want is to have the thumbnails align horizontally with the Post titles under them. Can that be done?

    Hi Piyush,
    I've granted you access.

I would really like to have the Popular Post widget with thumbnails (and title) lined across the page, under the main picture on my testblog. Thank you for your help.

@Grimm, sometime because of template layout issue in-spite of all configuration (see step 3 screen shot) you will not be able to see thumbnails. Check this link -http://bloggerhowtotips.blogspot.com/2010/09/how-to-remove-snippet-and-thumbnail.html, and try to understand the code. You might need to change some code. best luck.

I would like to edit this widget to show the most viewed posts of the day (instead of 7 days). Does anyone know how to do that?
